THE LOOKOUT

THE LOOKOUT Adjacent to the Bear Mountain resort and golf community, The Lookout occupies a cascading hillside lot with a challenging topography. The double 6-storey towers are designed to waterfall over the hillside. This allows for a less dense streetside with townhouse units with front yards, complementing the single-family fabric of the hillside, while putting 75% of the apartment units on the hillside with forest and lake views. The 2 towers share open underground parking and infrastructure and are connected through a central “lookout” landscaped plaza with bicycle parking, benches and seating, to which both lobbies connect. The plaza further serves as an arrival “portecochere” area for the residents and guests. Each tower contains a fitness and wellness area as well as a community lounge, kitchen and roof terrace. Units vary from 2 bedrooms to 3 bedrooms and are strategically located on the elevation according to size and views to create a well balanced market offering.

Finally, the Lookout is carefully designed and detailed to modern west coast architecture sensibilities with warm materials, stone and ample fenestration.
