2008-04 The Sevens is an upscale townhouse development on a site with a significant slope. The elevated position of the development opens the view to the beautiful Columbia River valley and the Moonraker mountain range. The development consists of 34 townhouse units, divided in 9 blocks along a private road. Unlike the traditional linear side-by-side townhouse developments, The Sevens townhomes are joined in a cluster, which gives each unit a more convenient geometry and a generous amount of window front. The main level is lifted to allow for large walk out decks with a striking mountain view. There are 4-unit types, each thoughtfully designed in accordance with their unique location on the site. Unit layouts have been designed to serve the vacation home market, as it offers great comfort for separate parties traveling together and giving each of the bedrooms a high level of independency. The exterior design demonstrates natural material selection, modern geometries with a hint of traditional mountain vernacular to be found in stone detailing. The façade is designed to offer a dynamic experience for the residents as well as for the views from the nearby roads, as it shows different faces depending on the angle of the viewer.
